Information We Collect
This is a static website. It has no user accounts, comments, contact forms or advertising, and it does not set cookies or use tracking scripts. It does not load fonts, scripts or other resources from third-party services.
Server Logs
The server hosting this site keeps standard access logs, which include your IP address, browser user agent, the page or file requested, the referring page and the time of the request. These logs are kept for 14 days. They are used to keep the site secure and running reliably, and to produce anonymous statistics on visits and software downloads, such as page views and download counts. The statistics are generated on our own server, IP addresses in them are anonymised, they cover only the last 30 days, and neither the logs nor the statistics are shared with third parties except where required by law.
Theme Preference
If you use the Light / Dark mode button, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. This value never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Software Licences
Software licences are requested through the separate licence server at licenses.choltech.com, which asks for your name and email address so that a licence file can be emailed to you. This information is used only to issue and send your licence.
If you contact us by email, your email address and message are used only to reply to you.
External Links
Pages on this site link to external services, including Dropbox for software downloads and LinkedIn. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to request that it is corrected or deleted. To make a request, email scholerton@gmail.com.
